Write, From the Beginning

This book suggest a " positiveness" about the teaching of writing to young students. Children in lower grades have much to say ( and write about) in terms of themselves and their world. They need to be presented with the opportunity to do so. To get children writing, first get them thinking - in new ways, about different things.
